You guys actually have posts that people may want to dig up someday. If I were to recommend categories for Watcher, they would be "Utah Cultural Commentary" and "Family Crap", since Watcher always has interesting and entertaining insights on both (and the Family stuff is quite a bit better than "Crap").Aaronhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00622082658232225351noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2416324515440002020.post-70454032229192547382010-05-11T17:15:25.085-06:002010-05-11T17:15:25.085-06:00So, categories. Some just for biking, some just for plants, some just for birds. So they can check out stuff by categories and blow off stuff they don’t care about. Second is in case I ever want to re-use some/all of the content. For what I don’t know. But say I wanted to write a Wasatch wildflower guide or something- it’d make it easier to break out the relevant content.Watcherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02248341788957416471noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2416324515440002020.post-42643759607693091122010-05-11T10:51:54.178-06:002010-05-11T10:51:54.178-06:00So, I just checked and Primus' "Too Many ...So, I just checked and Primus' "Too Many Puppies" came out in 1990. The Barbie version, written by Lisa Trusiani Parker, came out in 1996. You can't tell me that Lisa wasn't a closet Primus fan.Aaronhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00622082658232225351noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2416324515440002020.post-60693564597382156002010-05-11T10:35:09.709-06:002010-05-11T10:35:09.709-06:00Actually not KOHS. Between KPGR, KOHS, and KRCL (90.9), you can almost always find a good tune, and never have to listen to a commercial (since none of these stations have commercials). I don't know if it's a good thing or a bad thing, but you trade off the typical obnoxious announcers for overtly sophisticated/liberal announcers (in the case of KRCL) or flighty teenager announcers (for KOHS and KPGR).Aaronhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00622082658232225351noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2416324515440002020.post-71781718092410459872010-05-11T08:22:39.858-06:002010-05-11T08:22:39.858-06:00Holy crap, that's actually a children's bo...Holy crap, that's actually a children's book. (At least, that's how I always envision whoever plays that garbage...)

And I love that song. One of my favorite concerts was Primus at Saltair. 1995?

Categories/tags are not so much about organization, as they are about SEO, back links, and all that sort of stuff. I find them most useful on blogs like say... Mashable, that cover a lot of different topics. They can be a decent way of tracking down old posts as well.

And now, I'm going to bed.
